![]() ![]() It’s a hobby, but I understand how hard you guys have worked and I don’t want to bother you in any way, I have better things to do. I myself love to design 2D sprites in pixelated features and sometimes I take months, just to make one ♥♥♥**** drawing. I’m not trying to be some smart ass, annoying or anything, I respect the developers team and I want to be respected as well. I’m an old Steam customer and I paid for the game just like everyone else, and costumers want to get the best out of their recent purchased products. I once read on Shadow Warrior’s forum (Steam), a developer asking a costumer to be more polite and the guy wasn’t rude at all! I’m pretty sure he was just trying to explain his point of view just like I am. I don’t know why this is often considered a rage by us players, it’s not that! I did not missed with the respect, I just want some feedback from the developers and I guess I deserve this. There was a topic about this subject-matter(which I posted 3 times) on Steam forums and it was deleted. It seems the developers feel disrespected about these performance problems. This is my formal complaint and I really don’t know why we do not get any feedback nor this kind of problem is treated with due respect by the developers. Even “System Requirements Lab” said I could run the game very well! :(Īnd that’s it. I have plenty of extra memory available on my HD. I did it just when I purchase my notebook and I checked again to be sure my pc was still using the NVIDIA card as the main one and it was. Yes, I already selected my High Performance video card to be used as the main card to play the game. I have all possible drivers updated, even Intel HD Graphics one. So, why can’t I play Shadow Warrior at all? My FPS are below 25 all the time! Even if I lower EVERY possible setting, the FPS would not get me above 28 FPS at max! Vsync: Variable (some games shows a huge increase on performance by turning it off, so I would play On and Off depending on the game) And to make things clear, High settings as default on most games are:Īntialiasing: 4 Samples (Crysis: 2 Samples) Īdvanced options > Texture, Lights, Particles, etc: High (Shadows: Medium) To have a Notebook that can handle Ultra settings means to spend a lot of money. Dead Space 1 e 2 -> Played on High settings, no performance issues.Īs you can see, my PC can’t handle Ultra settings, but I never aimed for that in the first place. Crysis -> Played on High settings, no performance issues. Bioshock 1, 2 and Infinite -> Played on High settings, no performance issues. Mirror’s Edge -> Played on High settings, no performance issues. Tomb Raider 2013 -> Played on High settings, no performance issues. Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 -> Played on High settings, no performance issues. As I said, I never had this problem before! Of course I already purchased games that my PC couldn’t handle very well, but at least if I turn the in-game settings to Normal or Low, I would get very reasonable FPS. Aside the physical catalog of games I purchased here in my country. Yes, that’s a lot of original copies! Maybe not for those spoiled children, but I know 203 digital copies of games isn’t any joke. I was wrong! But the thing is, why does only Shadow Warrior granted me with this unpleasant and nasty problem? I have 203 games genuinely purchased through Steam. And as always I read the system requirements for Shadow Warrior carefully and thought to myself, ‘well my PC can run it just fine’. You never see much detailed system requirements, just enough for you to see if you can run the game properly, at minimum configuration or at the best one available depending on your pc settings. The fact is, I never had any problem with game’s system requirements, because system requirements follows a pattern focused on layman people. I love games and I play them almost every day. I’m 25 years old and with my job I can hold up my desire to play games. I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I play games before most of steam users learned how to walk. But that’s ok, because even as layman as I am I know the minimum to understand if my computer can run a game or not. Ok, I am ready for those immature and spoiled nerds, who will make sure to demolish my PC with no apparent reason. The game runs at extremely low FPS on my PC which makes me feel like the game is not optimized at all. And the complaint is the same as many others have been complaining. ![]() I’m writting this letter or post, because I believe I was injured (don’t know if this is the correct word to describe my feeling, in english) according to the purchase of the Shadow Warrior game.
